21st Century Civic Tech = Lean
You may or may not be familiar with the terms “waterfall” and “lean”… But they are important terms that illustrate a break in how governments can approach and develop technology. As described in the slides below, waterfall indicates a outdated software development methodologies that take major assumptions and holds lost of risk; lean on the other hand provides quick, cheap, and faster testing putting users at the center.
